All three bikes got 1/2 can of Seafoam and the tanks filled.
The GL1100 got an oil change, new water pump and coolant.
The oil in both Valks will get oil changes soon.
The Valks are going to be torn down (one at a time) for cosmetic changes and maintainence proceedures.

But today there is a predicted warm spell of 68 degrees,....sheesh!

Hey George...sorry you couldn't get out and ride with us this weekend...be sure to heal up real good and get those bikes ready for the next season of riding ...its looking real promising for the Michigan Misguided..with Inzane X and everything...plus we will have our usual full schedule of Michigan VRCC rides...

P.S.... Pam keep a good eye on that guy don't let him do anything crazy over the winter, we need George healthy again...plus it would be a shame if you had to leave him home to come ride with us....lol

Normanly I have the Valk. in "Dry Dock" by now but weather has been great, 60`s-70`s and sunny. I know just as soon as I do the things I do before locking her up for the season that a day will come that I will want to "RIDE". I kinda wish the weather would stabilize. Undecided But, a longer riding season aint all that bad.  Wink

I love living in the part of the world where they don't have to be winterized. I can ride enough of the winter that it doesn't matter.
Good luck on your upcoming projects.

Hey Tbird,

Hers a couple of shots from earlier this year.

There is a bit more pinstiping on it now. And over the winter there are going to be more changes to lighten it even further (HP to weight ratio).

Sunday was the "Sta-Bil" run.  Grin There were bikes all over the place. I took the wifes Aero out for a short ride and fresh fuel and Sta-Bil then brought it home and took the Valk to the Bradys Bend overlook. I was talking to a guy who showed up on a nice springer and we were looking across the river and he said that he wanted to ride that side one day. I said I did to. Though about it for about 5 seconds and said that I had at least 100 mi before I needed fuel, so now is the time.

BTW, if you run 68 in W PA to Bradys Bend, the road on the western side of the river looks a lot better from the eastern side of the river than it is. Its only a couple miles long and runs out of anything that looks like maintanance for the last 2, good one to skip. Once off it you can go left or right, I took left and it put me back on 68 with decent road all the way. Now that I know where that one goes, it is up for exploration.

However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.
