On the last part of my ride while doing a good clip a guy on a Harley all custom low and with loud music I could even hear over the wind noise pulls along side and wants to play. I was like no not really, so he pulls off.

So as he gets down the road a bit I said why not, and open her up. Now at full throttle his bike was loud, custom, low and he is in and out of traffic. He of course saw me coming and was trying to get away.

After a short chase he finally maxed out road clear was settling in the left lane and was  just sitting there wide open throttle waiting. When I pulled along side he smiled and we were neck and neck for a moment and I was just listening to this thing giving it all it had. Music still loud but drowned out by the wind. The exhaust you could hear this thing was at full throttle, every firing of the pistons you could hear in the exhaust.

I was just thinking in that moment the difference in the bikes and how smooth, quiet and assured I was on my Valk. It was like time disappeared and all reference to speed disappeared in that moment. Thoughts that go through your mind, like if I stay just here for a few seconds would he continue and blow up his bike.

But after sitting along side him for a few moments, I wave then hit the throttle and pull off a bit then back off, when I got down the road a small distance. I settled back into a cruise and he passed me and waved as he got off at the next exit. I was sure glad we did not have the wing limiter on this bike.

Smooth quick and in and out of traffic it was no problem to catch up to him, these bikes are amazing. The confidence handling and control you feel on this bike allows you to do things many bikes would not be up for.

I like the looks of the Harley and considered buying one for a moment in times past but have never been one for too loud and for 2 cylinders. There is nothing like more pistons for smooth trouble free operation and just the torque to get you where you need to be.

But after this I really know why I didn't buy a Harley. I was amazed at one thing though he had this thing low and the bags went over the pipes and if he wasn't careful I was wondering if the bags and rear would hit the pavement as he went along. Thats just to close for comfort for me but glad it worked ok for him.
