ok, final preparations and basic route planning underway. planned departure date 7/9/18,starting out route up across Wisconsin, through Minn, towards Bismark ND, heading to Glacier National Park. Depending on weather, I plan on taking my time not riding more than 300 miles a day. after afew days there, taking in the sites, I will head south touching Idaho, then into Utah. Since I liver in Denver I love riding in and around the mountains so will follow the rocky mountains south into Colorado. Pick up I-70 and head east into Denver. spend afew days with my son, daughter, and grandson before heading back east towards home. I have already got the time off of work for  3 weeks so it should be a relaxing trip, just me, my bike and the road. I have always kept a map of the trips I have taken, will do the same on this one. There seems to be enough Motel 6s along the route and some off the main hwy stops are always an adventure. I haven't been on a long trip since 2014 when I first got my new Valkyrie and went down to Tenn, and Georgia to see some old friends. Will get a new photo card for my camera that can hold up to 1000 pics, that should be enough. So, thats my plans, any others planning good road trips this year? Safe riding to all. Ride on life is good.

Suggest you dip south and ride Beartooth Highway and Chief Joseph highway just south of Billings Montana if you can spent a few days around Yellowstone National Park. Ony thing I would check for is get a report on the fires that might be active in the areas. Wish I could go with you, just love that area of the country.
