Works Performance made several shocks with external
reservoirs, maybe those are works... I remember something
about how the external reservoir ones would only fit on
Standards...

Wow.  Ever since Honda came out with the six-cylinder I've imagined a Goldwing stripped down into...  THAT!  As I'd ride my big Harley custom bagger, I'd see some attempts at what I'm talking about but no one really nailed it like I would want.  The pic you shared is a close as I've seen in real life to what I'd always pictured.  And no, my butt couldn't handle the seat for more than a few poses, I'm sure.  That's why I bought a black '14 Valkyrie in the first place: it was the closest I was ever going to come to that naked bike dream and someone else had done all the work.  And then decided I could have a warranty on top of it!  My unused warranty ran out the middle of last month.  Considered the extension, then realized it just wasn't "warranted".   Cool

There's a pic out there of an older blue and silver Goldwing that was stripped of its tupperware.

Sweet cooldude I'd lose the red stars, use black header wrap, and add a super short front fender to balance out the rear one.

Saw this on Facebook, a little less effort in this bobber arrempt, but I like seeing what people are doing with Valkyries as they age. I’m assuming this was not a pristine stock bike when the transformation began.
