I just bought a used Bushtec trailer to tow behind my Valk. Bushtec trailer has a 6-pin reciever plug on it (stock Bushtec) I can figure that out no problem. Question is, where is the best place to pick up wires to splice into on the bike. I haven't looked yet still waiting for plug harness to come in from Bushtec. Thought I would ask here first and maybe save myself some searching time.
Thanks in advance.

I would make my connections under the seat.

Thanks, I will look into that, hope the harness they send me is long enough, hate to butt splice it to make it longer.

Most of the plug in spots for the lights are under the right side cover, up high and to the rear. I got my power from the battery under the seat but the tail wiring was easier to get at from the right cover

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Thats where mine is.

Look on e-bay, sometimes they have a harness for a few bucks. Saw some for $10 or so awhile ago.

i went to the right side cover and carefully un pluged each wire added an water tight fuse holder to each lead going to an converter and heat srinked and soldered every joint if you are care full you can sneak a wire inside each plug center soldered them too  this was on an  99 i.s. better to take a hour extra to do the job the first time than fix it on the road .. they have some real nice fuses out with little wheat lights in them that will glow when blown i used minis like the bike uses
