Thank you for your service!  Also, thanks to all of the Service men and women, both current and past. If you don't get a lump in your throat when you sing the National Anthem (you do sing don't you??) then you aren't listening to the words or you're not singing loud enough.

Again, a sincere thanks to all Veterans!

My son's girl friend always asks me why my eyes tear up every time I hear the National Anthem.  I told her "If you have to ask, you wouldn't understand".

Thanks to all, and don't forget to exercise your right to vote the current sorry excuses for Americans out of office.

Thanks Vets.

My wife will actually get Veterns day off. I will be at work. Isn't that a holiday? Should be. There should be parades.

When I was  child, Veterans day was the biggest holiday of the year,  Dad was always in full uniform in the parade,  There were a lot of older doughboys in it too!  All my brothers and myself are Vietnam era vets.  Thanks to ALL vets.  Hoser

Its time we as a silent majority stand up and be heard. Its time God was put back in our country and in our schools. The time for being politically correct is over its time for good old American common sense to come to the forefront of our lives. Being Politically correct at Fort Hood cost 13 people their lives guess we were afraid we would offend some religions extremist.

Thanks you all veterans and to their families for the sacrifice they all made so we can ride

the flag, the national anthem....several other things have indeed perhaps an even more special meaning to those of us who served. I'll NEVER take freedom...and the things i cherish ...for granted........

somtimes it pains me...when folks who have beliefs that are 180 out from mine...even threaten my way of life...speak out against the things i cherish. BUT...then i  have to remind myself that is EXACTLY...why I and those who came before me...and those who will follow...sacrificed as we did...so that ALL could enjoy tbe freedoms we have. Some....gave their very lives..the ULTIMATE sacrifice.... so we could enjoy our freedoms as we do today...

WE MUST NEVER TAKE THAT FOR GRANTED!

Thanks to all vets past and present and those who are no longer with us. I think it's a shame there aren't more parades on Veterans Day.
The first poker run I participated in was for homeless vets in Buncoombe Co. NC (Asheville) What the he?? is wrong with that picture?
Can't thank y'all enough.

You are welcome, I served but felt like I never sacrificed. Spent the last half of the 60's playing Taps in northern Alabama and Mississippi for the boys that came home in bags, and have the honor of still doing it on Veterans Day at work at the end of the ceremony they have. I am grateful for my ability to contribute something in remembrance of those who gave all so that I can ride my Valk. I thank every uniformed person I meet, and every veteran I see. I thank you all, and promise to not allow our government to devalue what has been given to us at such an enormous cost.

I dropped off my vest yesterday to have my American Legion patch sewn on the back at a local alteration place. When I went in today to pick it up an Asian girl said here's you vest and no charge. I couldn't figure out why they wouldn't take my money and then an older Asian lady came out of the back and said she saw my Vietnam Veteran patch on the vest and proceeded to thank me for what we did for her people. They were both Vietnamese and have been in this country over 20 years.
