what pressure do you run the tire and why?
Presently I have 34 in the tire and am considering bumping it a bit higher
I know 26 felt like a flat tire, did not care for that at all
Will higher pressure lead to less likely to run into the truck ruts??

OSS, I don't run an Envigor but will give you some feedback on my experiences with my current D/S tire that may help.
When I first started running D/S I ran 38-42psi. Handling was great but of course the center wore quickly cutting the life of the tire down.
I recently put on a second Hankook Optimo, and in efforts to get the most out of it am running 34psi. The downside to this is handling. In the corners the rear is mushy and wanders, and I got a high speed (110mph) wobble.
I would urge you to test highway ruts, corning, and do a high speed run at the lower psi, then repeat with a higher psi. Compare the results to make a determination of where you want to run your tire.
I'm going to keep mine at 34psi because it's comfy, and great on the highway's. I will just have to control the kid in me in the corners and long flat straights.
Hope this helps.

Evan it’s been my experience that higher pressures lead to more issues with ruts and grooves.

I am on my second Envigor on an Interstate. I run at 35 - 36 pounds most of the time. If I intend to run higher speeds than the limit allows and they are long sweepers, I run at 38 pounds.
Pressure gauge accuracy involved.

I just installed one and am running 41 psi. Feels great, if it wears in the center, so be it.

Not on an Envigor, but I ran the Riken on the Valk IS @ 36. That same tire (in exact same size) requires 48 on the Wing to handle properly. Tire wear is dead even across the surface at these pressures, on both machines, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ go figure. I'd run it at whatever you can corner hard confidently. I caint stand 'em when they wallow, gotta carve

Me too. Low pressure (at first) almost make me throw the tire away. It felt like a surf board in back. I run 40 constant for best handling in all conditions (wet too). I do get a very little bit of extra center wear in my Goodyear ATT, but still got 37K (with tread still left in the center), so who cares. I think it's likely that optimal air pressures in car tires on bikes is going to vary a bit by individual tire (and bike), and it's not a one size fits all deal (thus the OP asked about the Envigor specifically). But I have always run my car and bike tires at the high end of pressure, and been happy with handling, braking and longevity. I'm more interested in best slow speed maneuvering than following ruts (or hitting half a manhole cover), and hard tires do better at slow speed, hard cornering turns and stuff. I just hold on and ignore the ruts, bumps, and hops.... they never crash the bike (though during the initial learning curve, there was the occasional butt tightening). One other small thing (not that it should affect what PSIs you choose for actual riding), but while I don't push my bikes around all that much, I do have to do a tight three point turn to leave my shed, and it is my experience that having only a few pounds less than what I usually keep my tires set to, makes the bike very noticeably harder to push around (aboard, with short legs).

On the Tourer (solo ride only) 36 to 38 psi seems fine. Less air and she feels "swishy", much over 38 even loaded to travel and she is "bouncey". 36 psi is the normal now since the IS now gets the long rides and the Tourer has become a local girl that gets ridden hard. It is just un-natural to not twist the right wrist hard.

I do not ride on a D/S, but I had a thought and a question. When I used to track my RX-7 I spent a lot of time trying to dial in my tires. Finding the right psi was a lot of trial and error. One of the tools I used was a infra-red thermometer. Taking readings across the tread. Couldn't an IRT be used here also? They are pretty cheap and easy to use. Ride for a while under normal conditions, or for whatever you expect to be doing. Get off and measure, adjust up or down a pound or two, then ride some more. Repeat until satisfied.

Envigor on 2 tourers here Oss, I run 36, just cause that is where it didn’t feel mushy to me.

I run 38 psi in mine, and I don't have any unusually bad issues with tire ruts.

I haven't run the Envigor yet, but I'm a 38-40 guy on the five DS tires I've run plus the one I'm running now. I just installed one and am running 41 psi. Feels great, if it wears in the center, so be it.
And if it wears in the center, it means I need to find more curves!
