Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

I can think of a few other reasons to! Nothing makes me more po'ed then when city folk move to the country next to a working farm and complains cause we are making to much dust or our livestock stinks. Or cause were out shooting. We were here 1st.  Angry I could go on but I better not. LOL  Lips Sealed

Yeah, I've seen that before.  People never cease to amaze me, yet for some reason, they never seem to surprise me.

I'd mark that up more to straight idiocy rather than being "city folk"  Wink.  A stupid person is stupid no matter where they are.

I'm a transplant...(wife is right at home out here) I've just got used to calling it a ROAD not a street! I gotta figure out sump pumps, wells, ditches, neighbor accross the ROAD with horses and roosters going off at 5:00am. Sure is dark out here at night though.

Same issues here..... the city has come to see us.
Think I will put up a sign... " Coming Soon...Baker Pig Farm"   That ought to stir up the neighbors..... maybe they will want to buy me out!!!!
Just bring CASH!!!!!!!!  Would make someone a fine estate.....

We have that poster hanging in our main administrative office!  It's wonderful.  We moved out to the country and couldn't be happier.  We have gotten used to cattle stampeding up the "road" and my neighbor's pigs escaping and trampling every thing in sight, and the sweet smell of manure in the cattle pasture next to us.  Wouldn't change a bit of it.  We work real hard at making sure we "fit in" with the locals.  Taken about 3 years but they've begun to believe we're "real" people.  It feels good to earn the respect of the local ranchers.

Some of country folks have a harder time adjusting to city life.
Esp us old fogies Cheesy
The town I came from is the county seat in mid-west Kansas. Pop < 3000.
I've been al over the world but I would love to retire to the mid-west.
Problem is my wife loves the city life and the shopping Sad
Also, she has lots of friends here.
