Not to restart THAT 20 year old debate, but one big surprise with the bike tire: I mounted it using tire irons in less than 6 minutes and the bead mounted (like a gunshot) at 5 psi. I've grown used to spending hours fighting with a car tire. And 50 psi to seat the bead...

Now to relearn how to ride a Valkyrie with a bike tire on the rear.

Good to hear it went well. Tire heated up in the sun before installing?

The relearning will be one of the shortest times of your life, you'll forget in a few minutes you even changed tires.
