Pulled off I65 ramp going home and it started to sprinkle and less 1/8 mi. later it was pouring at the Speedway. Got to the wee ward side of the building and spent 5 mins. getting the Toggs on. Got on Adelle and traveled on. 4 mi. later dry. Go figure. But I ran 65 mph. in the wetness of it all and must say these Avon Cobra's handled very well, as well as the Valk specific Exedra's. Hopefully the Cobra's give me the mileage like the Exedra's.

Hope so to. i was a firm beleiver in avon cobras. had one half wore and it delaminated. They had me take it to the honda dealer. Only way would replace it. They would only pay a part of costs. With that and dealer cost. The dealer price was more than I could buy a new one off jake w 0n internet.

They do handle well with one exception.  Around here they have a bad habit of painting large white crossing areas at intersections on highways that no one ever walks across.  I hit a newly painted one making a left turn a while ago in the rain and almost lost it.  I could feel the front and rear ends slide an inch or so before I got past it, a very terrifying feeling.

Not a factor in the tire..... that would happen with ANY MC tire.

And manhole covers and most anything else that gets wet that is painted on or embedded in the blacktop.

Riding on wet paint is not that big a deal.

But one should avoid aggressive breaking, accelerating and turning on it.   Grin

And yes, much of it is in intersections.

There are worse things.

You aren’t kidding!  While any paint in the rain makes for a slippery time, these up the ante for sure!  What do you think of the crack repair that the county is putting down?  Once that junk warms up, I get pretty loose!  I wonder if riding a snake might be easier!

Hey Nate, it catches me by surprise sometimes, wakes you up if you're day dreaming.  You get your shed done?
