I will not be able to make it for the dinner meeting after all. I just sold my '81 Goldwing tonight and will be delivering it tomorrow evening. Hate to miss the meeting but am absolutely thrilled about selling the bike. Hopefully will be able to make the next meeting.

There was a table full of us in the loud room, about six tables back from the band. Most of us drove due to threatening weather or their family wanted to go also. |

Brew1Brew was on his 'Valk' (new model) and I was on my F6B. Rest of the crowd anticipated the storm rolling in so they safely 4-wheeled it.  Since we were all sitting on the North side next to the patio, it was easy to see the storm rapidly rolling our way which helped Les and I make a spontaneous decision... "See y'all later" I got home without getting wet but as described above, apparently, Les wasn't quite as lucky.  |

Rain kept all but one Valkyrie away, but we were on the porch outside. Sorry we missed you. Houdini and his clan, Larry and Chris, Tom, Disco Dave, Les and I were there. |
