Tucson - Its a dry heat

Anybody have a slight coolant loss?

Both our Hack and Solo 2000 Valks have this issue. 100,000 miles on the Solo, 50,000 miles on the Hack.

With no noticeable problems (like overheating, puking coolant, coolant smells, or drips from water pump), I usually check each bike's coolant on a spring oil change, or before our big trip of the year.   Added about a pint to the Solo a couple months ago.

Prepping the Hack this weekend for an AZ to MN trip soon.  The coolant tank was dry, and the radiator needed about 2 cups worth.   Again, about a pint total.

I'm not real concerned, but more...puzzled. Undecided

Look on the top of the block (left side) where the head meets the block, behind the #2 intake runner. Often the top hose leaks a bit and it evaporates before dripping.
