. . ....Id have to say ...Georges bike definitely looks sweeter....for 3 reasons..

1) - The BBQ grille in the background of George,s shot....shows the mind of a guy who has his priorities straight....not only does he appreciate customizing the baddest bike on the face of the earth...but after he,s done wrenching on it....he,s ready to fire up the Q...and throw back a few ..Ice Cold Beverages..

2) - George,s bike dosent have a license plate bolted to the back fender....the size of a small novel..

3) - George is a good friend of mine..  Cool

I like the German gaurd rail and red seat.
Both are good looking bikes. I haven't seen the German custom with its shinnier red.

is that a grab rail or crash bar in back of the side cover?

Sure hope that the german bike doesnt get dropped a whole lot what with all those crash bars

The ones off the engine look like some I have seen on older gold wings

Could probably hang paniers off them they are pretty big

George your bike is looking good. Is that a recent pic of it?

Both cool bikes. I'd say the top bike just looks more finished. The black handlebars, valve covers, driveshaft, final drive, fender rails, and various little bits of chrome blacked out really ties the entire bike together. Really like the smoked rear light too. Looks finished. I think the matte powdercoat on the wheels really complements the finish on the rest of the bike as well.

I'd ride either one and hope every one on the planet saw me riding it ! Both are not only beautiful...they are VALK"S ! ! !   All should be praised and given sacrificial offerings of fuel, oil, and extreme care and attention.

It looks like the rail is a saddlebag rail. there is a bag on the left side.

OK,
Lets clear things up a bit.

I am of German origin,....it must be something in the genes.

Oh, next year it will be more "sinister" as I've found areas that I can make lighter and faster yet.
