I'm about to get my Valkyrie out of storage and had some issues that I believe came down to the bank angle sensor before I put it away. Can anyone tell me where it is located?

Thanks!

So I've posted about this before, but never had a chance to investigate. Mainly because I had to put my Valkyrie into storage for the last few months.

Ever since I got the bike, I had been having issues with her not wanting to start. Generally they would be on slight inclines, but not always. If I turned her off, then leaned her far to the left and then far to the right, key back on, she'd often start. This made me conclude that the bank angle sensor was my issue.

Today I looked at it and it turns out that it was only being held on by 1 screw and was sitting at a 45 degree angle....  Shocked

Found a screw to remount her, and good to go. The things done to this bike never cease to amaze me.

It is behind the center cover... don't break your tabs!

It has an arrow on it that indicates "this way up"...

I had the same issue on one of my bikes when on a 10,000km trip. Took until the third day to figure out why the bike kept shutting off, sometimes while riding down the interstate. Put a new screw in and I was all set.
