got to watch one Grandkid graduate from Plebe Summer at the USNA, visit with another who was out in the Pacific and see Jake with his sister & brother.  cooldude

When I was my Grandkids age (yeh, that was a long time ago) I didn't even know there were military academies or the quality of their education.  I was only concerned with the draft. Shocked

but realistically, I could never had qualified for entrance into these colleges.  I was too dumb and had other "things" on my mind.  Grin  Cheesy  Growing up in the projects in Southie gave me a "different" education then my grandkids received.   Roll Eyes
