Does the 1998 Honda Valkyrie 1500 have a fuel filter. My maintenance book does not reference in either the maintenance=ance section or the fuel section.

No, not unless it was modified. There is no OEM filter, but many (including me) have added one. Must be careful not to restrict the fuel flow.

It has a strainer screen inside the tank, but no replaceable fuel filter.

The "strainer" is #4:



I'd think if there was any reason to add any other filter, it would be better to fix
whatever was causing one to need the other filter...
