Looks delicious! Another beautiful spot to visit the next time Sherry and I are "Down East".  From Google Maps, we don't even have to go over any rickety looking bridges to get there.  cooldude

Sun setting and moon rising last night Tony.....
Looking east across the bay, we could see 6 maybe 7 mountains of Acadia.
Car headlights every so often would appear on the north and west sides of Cadillac.
Worth the side road ride (less rickety bridge) ....

I'm already looking forward to the ride.  Wink

The bridge to Beals Island, with only one lane open and construction on the other side, made me a little nervous. It's not a big bridge to begin with and we crawled across it behind a pickup truck and a full size tractor-trailer in front of the the pickup. Would have liked to have a little bit more speed to provide stability to the bike with two-up.

I was fine with the bridges over the Penobscot and to Stonington. The southbound approach over the bridge to Stonington was interesting with the blind rise.

I'd only seen a blind rise on a bridge that size once before on the route 138 bridge to Jamestown, in RI.

 Cool

Give me a shout when you want to sample a sampler platter at Perry's.....
It's easy to find, almost to the end of a dead end road.
