Can anyone reccomend a good Helmet and/or Dash cam for the bike that hopefully isn't that expensive.  Thanks for the help.

I dislike my gopro session 4, there's no resolution... but it is a GREAT form factor for motorcycles, needs
no cover and is "only" $150. Its still pictures are awful, but frames scraped from its videos
are usable for innernet posts...

Here's what I aspire to:

Here is one I have only read about.  Consider buying at one time.

Here is one I have used (well this company's) for over 8 years

And here is a link to a video from my older Contour.

The trouble with GoPros, and the like - is their battery usage. And remembering to charge it before setting off.
Car dash cams work off the ignition, and that is what I wanted on my bike also. No batteries to worry about, just switch on the ignition and it starts.

After much deliberation, I opted for a BikerMate from BulletHD  https://bullethd.com/en/cameras/44-biker-mate.html
Lens is mounted on the handlebars, the rest is under the seat.

And herself bought it for me for Christmas a couple of years back, so win-win.
