The incision from my operation hasn't wept in four days so I have now advanced to the next stage of recovery, the walking boot.
I was up on it yesterday and realize now why everyone is saying slow and easy. After about an hour my legs were weak, I felt light headed and had to sit down. This being immobile for 12 weeks has weaken my superpowers considerably. So I guess we go with P/T after Labor Day and hold the course as slow and steady with rudder a midship.

Recovery is moving in the right direction....and that is a good thing !!!
Remember, it has taken 12 weeks to weaken your legs....don't expect
your strength or stamina to magically appear after 12 hours. So, training
for the Bah'stahn Marathon is out of the question for this year !!!!

Looking forward to seeing your gains in mobility Paul....
Slow and steady with small steps makes great strides....'member dat !!!  cooldude

Good to hear you’re making progress. Given the potential horror stories about the possibilities at the beginning of this adventure, this sounds about right. Sorry I have not been by to visit, it's been a cluster f*€? around here... Things are looking up here, glad they are for you, too!
