Hello!
I have a Valkyrie Standard 1999 and was wondering if there is a way to buy and install (or have installed) a fuel gauge.

Thanks!

Some have changed to an Interstate fuel tank.  That gives you the option of using the stock fuel sender, the challenge is hooking up to some kind of guage that works right.

Most of us get good at using the odometer to judge how much fuel.  After many years I can now think on what kind of riding and conditions I had and know how much fuel is left by the miles on the odometer. Granted you must get into the habit of resetting at every fuel up.

...the challenge is hooking up to some kind of gauge that works right...
My '99 Tourer has an LED (bar graph type) display which has a calibration adjustment. It's set up for a 94/0-ohm sender scheme; with the sender out of the tank, you move the float arm between its full and empty points...then adjust the calibration potentiometer so the gauge display tracks the float position.

This setup is more accurate than my I/S's fuel gauge.

Many years ago, MC Enterprises offered a set of bar-mount gauges for the Valkyrie...oil pressure, coolant temp and a voltmeter. I appropriated one of their mounting cups for the fuel gauge. The fuel gauges themselves are readily available on eBay.
