Loved the Rocket..... but it aint as smoooooth as a six!  Wink  Been there, owned that.



Sounds like the author of that article hasn't heard of the Valk or Goldwing with his crack about giving motorcyclists a feel of 6 cylinder smoothness!

The new BMW "Concept6" engine introduced at EICMA is destined for the firm's next "Luxo-Tourer." It may well not see the light of day as a "sport touring" bike. The Concept6 is likely just a show bike designed to show off the motor before it's buried under the tupperware of a Gold Wing killer.

Before I bought my Valk, I seriously considered the BMW K1200LT.  My dentist actually let me test drive his and I liked it a lot! The only thing I didn’t like was the high seat!  I was on my tippy toes at stop signs.

Nice smooth ride, I’d buy one if I had too.  I’m pretty sure my Valk will last me my lifetime so that BMW thing might not happen!
