About 3 weeks ago the doctors recommended I slow my activities
down and put my feet up more, as this will help eliminate the
swelling in my feet, ankles, and calves.
I was also given a prescription for a mild diuretic, but that's another story all by itself !!!
So today, following doctor's instructions I took it easy and put my feet up.
What better place to put my feet up than on the hiway pegs ??  Yeah, that's what I thought too.
380 mile 'round trip for lunch....

Way to go. Nothing like a prescription to ride.

Must be hard riding with your feet up about your heart level?   Evil

Glad you could get out and enjoy some rubber time!

I don't remember "above your heart" in my conversation with the doctor...hmmmm   ???
Was a good 'crisp and clean air day'  Chris......8am depart and 6:30pm arrive back
The food and scenery are mighty fine over there....  Smiley

Wow Terry! That's quite a single day ride! Glad you guys enjoyed the good weather, scenery and food. Northern New England had the sun, southern New England had the clouds.  Sad Great pictures!

We had originally planned to do a NH coastal ride. Bernie called and told me that there's a seafood fest at Hampton Beach this weekend. Ocean Boulevard along the main beach is closed to traffic and it was going to be a crowd scene. So we didn't go.

Instead we took a back road ride to Plymouth, MA for lunch along the water front. The back roads were really not interesting and it took almost 2 hours to get there. We took the highway home and it was only an hour.

Plymouth was cloudy but fun to walk around. Off course we paid tourist prices (over paid) for a lobster roll for Sherry and a hamburger for me.

Now you better keep your feet up today!

 Cool

Two questions.

How was the food?  Been going to stop in there a few times but just haven't .  No excuse.

What does the doc think about those onion rings?

Food was good Andy....meat falls off the bones with the ribs, chix wings were full wings in a buffalo sauce.....burgers are good from past experiences.  We have been 4 to 6 times and always have a good lunch, and the back deck is the place t sit.
I select 'share my pics', so my doc shouldn't see'em !!!

Terry

So I finally made it to ROUTE302 West for lunch.  Timing just hadn't been right until this week.

There was a group of flatlanders pushing their way thru the door so I missed a sign on the way in.  On the way out, after I gave them my money, I saw this:

That's a problem for me and thought it might be for you.  Could be recent but I won't be going back to check.

Only the second one I have seen at a licensed premises in Maine (Title 17-A, section 1057).  The other was at Pedro O'Hara's in Lewiston.  I have eaten at their Brunswick location many times and it was not so posted.

BTW, the brisket was good but the serving size was small.  Pulled pork nachos were good and plentifull.
