Let's get this party started,  Grin   riding season cometh. Hopefully it will cool down enough for us to enjoy a gathering at 3 Bananas in Crescent City. We have some new Valkyrie riders to initiate and this should be a good venue to get their bellies full.
They open at 11, We can start kicking tires before noon, I'd say 11:30.
Looking forward to seeing our group get together again.   cooldude

Trust us, we gave up the big house long ago, we actually live quite cheaply.

We usually hit the Sunoco at 471 and 50 Tarrytown and collect the group,  8:30ish and KSU at 9 to harass Mike by 11a   2funny

I had pretty much figured that Tarrytown Sunoco would be the hot spot. I will be there between 8:15 - 8:30, and hope to have Greg and possibly Sandy with me. Will try to remember to contact Steve Eddy also, as he is back from his cross country trip.

I'm glad to see all those who are coming and those who can't we'll get with you next time. Looks like a purple/white Valk may show up as well.  Cool. Liz called today to give them a heads up to expect a loud and rowdy hungry mob of 15 to 20.  coolsmiley

GREAT ride yesterday!!!!   Great to welcome a few new riders to the group!! As always, the food was good, and the staff at 3 Bananas did a bang up job, considering they had at least 2 large groups at the same time. I would gladly return there to eat. I got rained on a couple of times on CR 42, but really never got more than damp. I ended up with just over 260 miles for the day, and figured out that that is just too many miles for me with no cruise control. The bars are in the optimum position, but the hand was really tired by the time I got home.

.  After putting the wide beach bars on the Drifter I was happy with the look, but I feel that the oem bars on most bikes have their place for longer rides. Like a sleek pair of pumps on a young pretty lady, looks great comfort, not so much.  We also had two short spots of rain, lasted just a few seconds.  Felt good.

Hey Don, look into the Break Away throttle lock. Me and Jack have it, I think it is the best thing I put on the Bike in a long time. It is a bit pricey, but made real well and all billet aluminium.
