97 standard, in the headlight bucket on the light harness is a circuit board encased in some sort of gell material and wires of one color goes into it and comes out a different color and goes to a type of relay... what are these functions...    TIA.. Undecided

Look over a parts fiche or even ebay for parts, to compare it too, IF it is OEM. Doesn't sound like it, but I don't have a std/tourer.

Doesn't sound like anything I've seen on any Valk before.  Aftermarket.
