Ok so you and Tony have new Goldwings. Tony didn't have one before but you did. Do you feel this one has more or less room than your older one? Yes, I am considering the Darkside or the Whiteside I guess if HD is the Darkside.

I think the older Wings were more "Roomy" but I think that can be easily remedied, by changing out the seat. The seat sucks anyway so you may want to do it anyway. I can't say enough good things about this bike the power and handling are awesome. The stock suspension is very good. I had Traxxion on the other WIng and I feel no need to upgrade this one. What impresses me the most about this bike is the smoothness.

I read the posts on a 2018 Gold Wing forum for lots of good information. With respect to luggage space, it's less than the previous Wing and less than the HD full dressers. I've read the posts of guy with the handle, Mengy, in his deliberations over the last few months on trading his 2016 HD Road Glide Ultra for a Gold Wing Tour DCT. He recently pulled the trigger on the Wing and posted a honest review of what he considers the pros and cons of moving to the Wing. He's only ridden HD for the last 26 years. A link to his post is below, which could be helpful in your purchase decision. https://gl1800riders.com/forums/193-2018-goldwing-board/436351-my-2018-goldwing-tour-dct-harley-guy-s-musings-after-487-miles.html

Once your'e back on your feet again I know International Motorsports in Auburn and Naults in Manchester have bikes for demo rides. There is a video on youtube of a guy who took one out from Naults, pretty extensive test ride and report.

I laughed when one of his issues was he couldn't rev the throttle at stop lights.

Reving the engine on a Goldwing is sort of like tits on a nun.

Depending on age, "tits on a nun" could still be nice to look at !!
