I am considering purchasing a 2014 Valkyrie. One of the things I need to install right away is a good seat back/sissy bar for my passenger. I prefer one that has or can have a luggage rack mounted behind it.

I know Honda sells them, but I was hoping to find more styles and prices in aftermarket stuff. When I go to J&P and other major parts sites, they SAY their products will fit that bike, but then when I ask the manufacturers they say they don't. For example. this is one I like a lot, however I called National Cycle to verify it will fit and they said "no". Does anyone here have one?

Can anyone recommend a good passenger seat back and rack?

Thanks

You may have no choice.  The way the sissy bar mounts limits the way the bar mounts.

This is the OEM answer to a backrest and parcel shelf. Although the rear carrier says you need a couple of OEM brackets I believe the carrier will bolt onto the backrest. Need to confirm that before you order it even if the price does not discourage you. I know you can get other carriers that bolt onto the OEM positions at a lower price. The backrest is unique though to the bike since if fastens onto the rear handles.

BACKREST WITH PAD
Provides additional comfort and support for the passenger while enhancing style.

MSRP* $274.95 08F70-MJR-670

REAR CARRIER

Stylish rear carrier provides additional storage space.

Part #: 08L71-MJR-670
MSRP* $169.95

This was my answer a Corbin seat and backrest and the OEM Carrier and arms that hold it.
