From the web site :-

Major organizations now agree that ELF EMF magnetic fields are a possible carcinogen.

Yet another thing to worry about - NOT!

The 'elf and safety loonies are nearly as bad as the ....................................... (you fill in the blank) loonies.

Maybe its the HD motor they are talking about.  Surely the Valkyrie with its "car" motor doesnt have this problem??????????  I just put 100,000 plus miles on mine with nothing protecting the sensitive areas except a thin layer of denim....  Shocked  Shocked

I don't want to unnecessarily raise concern, but there may be something to it.   Shocked

Before I started riding the Valkyrie I fathered five children.  Since riding the Dragon I have fathered none.   coolsmiley

I sort of question that report.

Why? I used to get a "stiffy" whenever I rode my bikes.

But I do have a prostate problem of late.

I also believe that we are all "Born to Die".

I’ve noticed the same thing with me and my wife.  Maybe there is something to this ELF thing?  My wife and I haven’t used any type of contraceptive for over nine years now, and coincidently I’ve been riding a cycle for about 15!  Never mind that little procedure I had that made it hard for me to walk for a few days, and that bag of ice that went with it to keep the swelling down, there’s something to this thing!

I've already had kidney cancer.  They took one of them and left me with a two foot long scar across my gut.......and that was before I started riding again.

Other stuff in life (probably my work) attributed to the kidney cancer, but if riding a bike gives me some other crap, then I'll gladly take it with a grain of salt.

The way I see, I'm here on a free pass now as it is.  So go ahead and throw the ELF at me.  I can take it.   Angry

It's not just the men who have to worry, either. I started with a 50cc motor scooter back in '64, and so far I have had no children. Thanks to this post, I now know it was not the 3 pack a day habit for 40 years that caused my lung cancer, it was those sneaky little elfs. I was also a very active bicyclist for many years, and am now positive that the centrifugal forces unleashed by the spinning wheels, transferred through the rotating chain & sprockets straight up the seat post, have been detrimental to my pelvic health. Imagine what we're doing to ourselves in our cars and trucks, enclosed in our highly conductive metal cages...
