Had a really great time with the Northwest group. Looking forward to meeting up again real soon. Here's a short video of the Joseph trip. Doesn't do it justice.

Nice job, as usual, on the video! I'm ready to go back!

Nice.  Well done.

Just found the relive.cc site today.  I think I'll start trying to document more rides/events.

Just looked at relive.cc. Great idea. I'm going to have to try that! Thanks for the suggestion! Strange thought though, someday, there'll be nowhere one can go that they are not on camera. I think we are living in those "good old days" folks speak of.

Thanks Cal. Honestly, it's not one of my better videos. I was having such a good time I forgot to create a storyboard during the trip and was not very creative. We are so looking forward to the Valhalla trip! We are also talking about adding 2 days to the Joseph trip next year.

Wow nice production and crew. It was great to see what I missed.

Not to brag but Kathy and I didn't hit a drop of rain on our trip to Marble canyon and back :coolsmiley:

Oh, but you missed so much more than what is in Greg's excellent video ;)

It was a fantastic time for sure...I've been so busy with work trips, travelling up North to our daughters' for Thanksgiving, and trying to squeeze in a few local rides and fly fishing while the weather is still holding out since I returned that I just haven't had time to do a report and post pictures. Without Lisa on this trip who always takes lots of excellent pics from her perch on the back, I'm a little lacking in that department this time but here's a few to start. I'll add some more when I get a chance to download from my phone and then maybe others can then post their pictures as well as some commentary on this thread.

Greg, thx for doing that video...I had an absolute blast and really look forward to you ID boys making  it up to Valhalla next year... and to an extended Joseph Jaunt next September as well :cooldude: Think we're gonna need a bigger (or extra) cabin :)

I'll let Cal provide his own narrative for this one....

Gary's curious lunch selection...ice cream sundae and beer  :cooldude:

Anxiously waiting to pack on a few more lbs with those monster breakfasts

Love riding this type of terrain...

Thanks Ken  :cooldude: :cooldude:

Our "little cabin on the lake"

Yes, I actually rode 11 hours home like this...my two old Swiss HD-riding neighbors were shocked to see  the old Valk like this when I rode in to our driveway...they've never see a spec of dirt on her in the year and a half we've been in our new home :2funny:

Will add more photos when I get a chance to download from my phone....anyone else have some good ones, add 'em here :cooldude:

Hey All, thanks for the video and the great pictures. Petra and I are sorry we missed it.  :tickedoff: We are hoping that next year things will work out that we can make Valhalla and Joseph...... :cooldude:
As Greg would say many moons must pass before I know what will fall through the hole...... :crazy2:
Again thanks for sharing, and We look forward to meeting the rest of the group from up north soon.

OK, here's some more pics

Ken (Bikerboy) and me met up in Kent WA to overnight at Redline's place prior to making the run to Joseph the next AM. Here's Cal showing off his ongoing hotrod project , building it himself from scratch...that's some serious HP

Packed up and ready to head out with our "chase vehicle", driven by Mrs Redline (Linda). That's Bikerboy's new Wing...the man's got 4...count 'em...4 Valkyries in his garage all primed and ready to go, but he just couldn't help himself hopping on that fancy new DCT machine

Pretty tough to beat a picture of a Valkyrie...unless it's a picture of a bunch of Valkyries  :cooldude:

That was a nice climb...the roads and scenery in this area are spectacular riding and being later in the season we encountered very little in the way of traffic. The "Rattlesnake" and other roads we ran provided plenty of curves and great scenery...even the one afternoon in the rain was good. I really missed having the Mrs along...one reason being that she takes great "on the road" photos from her passenger perch on the IS, which show what I can't describe in mere words.

Yep, they're big'uns alright

Bikerboy with Chief Joseph. Reading up a bit on the old Chief, it seems there's a bit of a battle going on between Idaho and Oregon on who gets to lay claim and display his statues. For now, this one resides in Joseph OR

The Idaho boys visit our Cabin for a windup Happy Hour(s)

Was a GREAT evening :cooldude:

Seems like everyone has a camera in their hands these days, can't tuck in your shirt without the event being posted on the www. They say a camera adds 10 lbs... but with Mike's Canadian cell phone camera it looks more like 30...

I didn't take many photos on this trip, but here are a few.

Our "little cabin on the lake" had a nice size garage, parked all of our bikes plus the chase vehicle with plenty of room to spare. It had nice lighting and was perfect for those late night detail jobs.

This is the main floor lake side deck and my wife Linda.

Dave Chromy, convalescing after his incident, being attended to by Linda.

The lower level deck, not a bad spot to hang out!

Maverick, our 12 year old German Shepherd, guarding the main entrance.

Nice pictures guys, just rub it in some more that I couldn't attended. Ended up in Vegas that weekend, stomach flue for 2 days, and ended up coming home with all the money I brought with me to loose (but won it all back).

How many riders ended up attending? Where you limited to 10 to the cabin, or did you get 2 cabins?

The cabin I rented was limited to 10, I think we ended up with 9. Don't know the details of the Idaho Chapter's lodging.

You missed a good one for sure!

It was a great weekend!  Linda, I was glad to get to know you better. I missed the best rides though.  Met some really great guys.  We really look forward to more of these.  I have pictures of that last evening, but don't know how to post them here.  Will accept any help.

You need to save your pictures in a photo-sharing site first....I use Post Image. Sign up to that... it's free and very easy to use. Make a  file in there and upload photos into that file. Then click the Share icon of the photo you wish to post here and click the "copy" icon to Right of the "hotlink for forums" option , then you can just paste it into your post on here. Easy to post multiple pictures if you keep both this site  and Postimage open on you computer at the same time, then you can just go back and forth.
Look forward to seeing your pics ......Mike :)

Was perusing the old posts and found this one about our Joseph Jaunt. What great memories. So sad to me that the last several years have had such an impact on our travels and time together. Still, we have these memories and I will always cherish them. Such great photos form days gone by. Glad to have known each and every one of you!
