FB was all orgasmic when she saw the R/W trike!!!!!  We emailed them yesterday.  It does not have the raked front end..... but that could be fixed.  The sellers website states they want $17,985.....I'd bet that is their reserve.
We won't bid against ya... cooldude

Don't do it.  It's not what you're looking for.

Trikes (Including Valk Interstate trikes) come up for sale regularly and you can often find relatively low mileage models for a good price.

If you decide later that you'd rather have the Interstate trike, you need to know that it's much easier to buy a trike than to sell one.

If you're in love with the look, go for it. From a practical standpoint, a Valk trike makes no sense. The added weight and wind resistance drives the MPG's in the toilet. The standard tank becomes useless for longer trips. If I ever "need" to own a trike, it'll be an 1800 Wing. My Valk towing a trailer got 25 MPG at 65 MPH. My '05 Wing with the same trailer gets 40 MPG at 70 MPH.

Powersports claim's to be the largest volume dealer in the south...Lake Hill in Mississippi claim's the samething  Undecided

I do know both dealers move alot of merchandise. If you was to ever buy brand new I've heard you can pit them against each other for the best deal.

FB, I think Willow meant that for Liberty Bell, who expressed in a previous thread that he liked the fairing and trunk.

Nothing against the Valkyrie trike, they do look good. I have rode a Valkyrie trike and thought it was pretty neat. My buddy just bought a Can Am spyder and I have ridden it several times. It is far ahead of the other trikes. Rides very well and the steering is way better. I do know if I ever decide to get a trike this will be the way to go. Also it comes with 106 hp at the back wheel and it has plenty of power.

I have seen the bike in person. It was a 2 wheeler, a month or two ago($7450), with about 22 to 24,000 miles. It was clean (just a little minor darlington on the forks)  and had a few extras installed (chrome). The 3 wheel kit was installed by the dealer. I have also seen the kit before it was installed, seems to be a quality kit well engineered. A comment from the sale staff  "if the Valk does not sell soon we are going to make a 3 wheeler out of it" and so they did. The paint on the rear fenders, etc looks well done and appears to match nicely. They have built several 3 wheelers on Wings and Harleys in recent months using the same 3 wheel kit.

I am not a 3 wheel expert, having never owned or ridden one, so keep that in mind when reading my comments.

As for the dealer - I have NOT ever dealt with them, no reason, I just have not had a need to purchase anything from them. They are a VOLUME dealer for new Honda's and have a very large showroom. They also seem to always have numerous used bikes from several manufactures.  They have 2 locations the 3 wheeler is at the MLK Blvd Location downtown.

As for buying a new Honda from them I certainly would if the price was right. As for the Valk (2 wheel mode) seemed a little pricy(based on mileage), so I passed on it because I found a real nice very low mileage(1606 miles) for less money. The dealership is owned by the Kelly family who owns some car dealerships in Chattanooga. I am not aware of negative comments. If you need something let me know the bike is only 7 miles from where I live. Thanks Pete.

I have a Spyder also and your right they are way ahead of other 3 wheeled vehicles. Very computerized which may need debugged. I have not had a single problem with mine however as with any forum you only here from the ones with problems and there has been reports of steering problems that Can Am is working on.
Fun factor- comparable to the Valk
Accelleration- not as good as the Valk but close
Attention getter- a little better than the Valk

That is a good kit,but you will need to rake the forks.
Without doing that it will steer like a truck.
Goody and I built his and without doing the
front end it is a bitch to steer.

Liberty, the red white looks good but the one in Brewton, AL at $12000 would have been a much better deal. I'm with Willow. If you're looking for a trike, an IS would be more practicle. Just my 2 cent.
