Went to the Drs last Tuesday. In the morning I had a P/T session in the water. Man, that is the way to do that. She wrote a summary on my P/T for me to take with me to take to the Dr.
He is happy with my progress, both strength and flexibility. The scar is healed and disappearing.
He gave me the ok to throw away the walking boot! I have to wear a nylon brace with shoes and sneakers. I can wear my over ankle work boots without the brace so long as I lace them tight. He rewrote my back to work order as no lifting in excess of 40# and no walking more than a half mile. I told him my leg weighs 40#. He adjusted to 40# more than body weight. He also commented he'd like me not to try the motorcycle til the therapist is happy with my balance and strength.

Been here buddy, for three weeks. They locked me in the office to keep track of equipment and trucks. Besides YOU HAVE GAS!

Yeah, I asked him about that and he said he prefer I didn't put the side strain of holding the bike up just yet. I am hoping for one warm day in December

Glad Kathy doesn't read these posts.  Cheesy

Good news about your progress but I wouldn't hold your breath about warmer weather in December  Shocked  Spring might give you even more time to heal  Wink
