Need a little help here. Got a set of bags coming to mount on OEM mounts & I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to make a bracket to relocate the rear turns. Looking for suggestions ! Also does the rear fender have to be removed to unplug & detach signals ? Any help will be much appreciated !

Thank you ! I suppose I'll have to remove rear fender to get to plugs ? I may use aluminum instead of steel as it would be a lot easier to work with .......

Yes, the fender needs to be removed.  Aluminum gets brittle when it is bent, so the aluminum might break at the bend and the signal lights might fall off after a while.

Nice to see I still have a place here,  cooldude Steel is easy, put it in the vise and slowly draw the hack saw back and dig shallow lines where you want the bend. A 32nd is fine. Stick it back in the vice with the short piece up.  Start to bent it in with the cut or score on the inside, using a huge crescent wrench, then Finish it by tapping it over with a mallet. Scoring the Metal always works.

Thanks ! You wouldn't happen to remember the size of that piece would you ? Also Did you just simply bolt it on where the reflector used to be ?

Let me take a look, I might just have that piece around somewhere and I can just post it to you.

Bracket found.  Pm your address and I will send it to you. Once received you will have full understanding of the madness.  A little post money would do to my PayPal. The part is free.
