Took today off to take advantage of some good weather because the weather on the weekends has been crappy. Left the house at 10:30 for a ride with Sherry. Thermometer on the bike read 43 degrees. We dressed for the weather and used the heated seats and grips to stay mostly warm. Plus I used my Gerbbing jacket liner. Sherry doesn't have one.    Lips Sealed

We took a scenic route and arrived at the Alley Cat Diner in Webster, MA around noon. Had a good lunch, cheese burger for me and a breakfast burrito for Sherry. When we were ready to leave the temperature had risen to 54 so instead of going home, we extend the ride and rode around east Central MA. The foliage was mostly done, but there were some patches of nice color. Got home a little after 2:30 with 103 miles on the clock. Hoping to get at least one more ride in before I park the bike for the winter.

The pumpkin is carved and the candy is ready for the Trick or Treaters. Hope we get a lot of kids tonight.

Happy Halloween everyone!

 Cool

Sounds like an enjoyable day Tony....any day you can ride is a good day.

Drained outside water hoses, cleaned smoker grill, and split bbq wood here.

Dog setting for Ryan and Taylor, as they pack and get ready for their road trip to Texas.
They are leaving this morning....

My day was Thursday and what a great riding day, almost 70 degrees and the sun was out most of the time. I left my house in Smithfield and headed for Narragansett Bay. There were lots of people walking and jogging.I rode the coast to Scarborough and Galilee, then headed over to Worden's pond to check out one of my favorite fishing holes and took all the meandering back rodes home.Hopefully it's not the last ride of the year. cooldude

Al, what a great ride! I would have liked to do Thursday with the warmer temps but had work meetings scheduled most of the day. Glad you got out and enjoyed the warm weather.   cooldude

Haven't yet completed the around the house winter prep. Probably get then done in the next couple of weeks. Also got to put the snow tires on before the end of the month.  Undecided
