I bought a brake light thing on here a year or two ago. I don’t remember it’s name. The part looks like a bulb with out a bulb. It takes a g4 bulb that you insert into the two tiny holes for the bulb. Then when you apply the brake it flashes -fast to a gradual stop. Can anyone help me with the name. Many want one but I don’t remember  Embarrassed

I'm having a tough time visualizing what you are describing.  Are you able to post a picture?

I added one of these . Brightens up the back end and also adds
additional bright signals.

For an even easier /cheaper way, you can get strobing 1157 LED bulbs that are a drop in replacement. The circuitry is built into it, when you apply the brakes it flashes 4 times then is steady. Don't have to wire in any boxes or little modules, and it's quite bright. Mine are branded as Alla Lighting, seemed one of the better reviewed brands. Pack of 2 was $20 on ebay. I've been using them for about a year now and no issues. Brighter than a regular bulb and the strobe effect is very eye catching.
