Plan to do a stereo upgrade. New speakers, amp, etc. Has anyone put a touch screen in place of the stock digital dash? Really like to get rid of the control pod on the left side. I do not have a trunk anymore and ride solo 99% of the time. Pics?

Haven't heard of anyone doing this on a Valk, only on a GW. Since they have the shelter, they have room for a car stereo.

If you replace the IS faring with a Woody you can choose the one that has room for an automotive style head unit like I have on the Bruce bike

I thought about doing this but looked at all that had to be done in order to do it I changed my mind.

Check out, Nick's "Bronx Boy's" fairing mod. He has a Harley road glide fairing mounted on his Valkyrie. Looks awesome. Insert a tourer speedo and tach plus other gauges and you can ditch the interstate dash, control pod and stock fairing too. With the R/G fairing you can still retain the twin headlight that makes the interstate unique and will accept an automotive stereo head unit.
I hope you don't mind the post Nick.
