I'm heading to the Patent office to register the chingus I made to hold the collar back on the recovery system nozzle.

Just found a variation of my "chingus" in the winter Aerostich catalog.  Somebody beat me to it.  I like mine better.   Undecided

(the recovery system nozzle is too bulky to mess around turning down-side-up, for me.  Easier to catch the drip in a gloved hand).  Ymmv,

(amazing the hits this thread has tallied)

(Flash Point is << well below << freezing temps F.  Auto ignite is 500+F.  % Air/Fuel ratio of Flammable range is a known factor, but in a spill situation it is the unknown factor).

I don't understand 'grounding the noozle'.  ??? Its the vapors that ignite. Plus if it does 'catch' fire, close the cap. Won't burn without O2. Done this plenty of times while pouring gas on a fire and have it flame up the stream. I just put my finger over the hole and it goes out. No biggy. Plus its not like the movies, it won't kaboom!  Evil

sidestand for me and off the bike....headset unplugged and the electric jacket liner too if wearing it. Don't want to be impaired by cords if running is required.
