I always give nick grief for not scoring on a second Valkyrie but he is probably right. Not sure how or why I ended up with four bikes but I did.  None the less I decided to put myself on a self imposed moratorium for buying anything Motorcycle related. I buy nothing, as a matter of fact I am going to continue to sell many parts for both Drifters and Valkyries as I have amassed a few shelves full. So why do we have so many bikes?    At least I got a couple more quarters than him 2funny

Technically you have 3 bikes since one of them is Sherry's.  Grin

I think it's ok to have two so in case you are Servicing one, you don't get stressed about trying to finish the job fast so you don't loose on riding time AND if they are set up different you can also enjoy the change of a different bike.

Three might be to much, YEA..... I SAID IT, if you have limited time to ride the babies just sit there waiting and waiting and begging for some attention BUT I just can't get around to get rid of one, it would be hard to decide which one to let go.
In my case I would have to keep a bagger so my interstate would stay which leads me to choose between the red beast and the black jack  Cry ???
So for now I just wait and wait.

Parts, you taking about parts....... I have sold many and still have some that I keep in case one of the Valks need a replacement but same as you, I have taken a step back on buying any more parts, except for the ones I'm ordering tomorrow  Grin

I will own another bike when I find the right one. It will either be an FJR or a Kawasaki 1400 Sport Tourer.

Different bikes for different riding styles make sense, also having buddy bikes is a good Idea because its always more fun to ride with others, with that said I think I need another cruiser or touring bike to mate with my voyager in Kentucky, my XR has a KLR buddy it only seems fair!

I would love to have the place to ride a KLR 650 or a DRZ 400  Cry   Other than that it would have to be the new wing without the trunk.

Be careful what you wish for. I had four bikes for a while and one of them was always due for either service or repair. Add to that a couple of classic and specialty cars, two homes, and it all was a bit too much. Now with just the Valkyrie and the Indian, and after selling the Mercury Cyclone, Mustang SVT, 40 Pontiac, and 92 F150, one of the homes, and acquiring a boat, life is more tranquil and pleasant.  cooldude

On the other hand, maybe encroaching age has a lot to do with it?  Undecided One thing for sure, my wife was most certainly correct when she would ask, "Just how many asses do you have anyways?"  Roll Eyes I was just too proud to admit it.  Cool

The key thing is to wake up breathing! All the rest can be fixed. (Except Stupid - You can't fix that)
