Went to the post office today and the first thing I noticed when I pulled in was a truck parked crooked so the woman was really taking 2 parking spaces and she was talking on her cell phone but here's where it gets crazy. When I came out of the post office I looked over and she's still talking on her cell phone AND SHAVING HER CHIN!!!! Yep I live in red neck country!

Makes you feel good about yourself...
Because you know better than to do something self-centered and stupid like that.

LOLOL......your "redneck" women must be nicer looking than ours.  Here they dont bother to keep themselves up, like shaving their beards or wearing a strong enough bra to keep them things off their knees.  But it gives a conveniant cup holder and french fry catcher canyon right in the middle of their chest   Shocked

My son recetnly gave me a book of short stories that are set in WV, written by a local boy by the name of Breece Pancake. (really)

Fabulous writing, he captures the lives of a wide variety of WV natives. I would strongly suggest it to any folks interested in the beauty and people of the state.

Pancake, Breece, Milton.  A stark collection, The Stories of Breece D'J Pancake, was published posthumously to national acclaim.  The "why" of Pancake's suicide at the age of 26 remains a mystery.  Success seemed eminent; he was near completion of his master's degree at the University of Virginia and his stories were being published by The Atlantic.  Poetry and short stories.

Been wondering why you haven't posted lately. Hope no new boondoggles have come into your life. You've had more than your fair share already.
