As alluded to above, it just means the website isn't SSL Encrypted, whatever communications between your computer and the VRCC web sites are sent in plain text and anyone along the way could easily read the data.

(But since we're posting on a public forum, kinda hard to be TOO worried about that, right? Smiley )

To get a proper SSL certificate and encrypt the data is a rather expensive undertaking with, IMHO for the VRCC at least, very little pay off.

I don't know anything about anything. But, I get the feeling even if we were encrypted our resident ex-NSA gent would be able to get in. (But, he did come up empty on my mom's maiden name)  Smiley
