Were thinking MT Dora. Any suggestions on eatery's welcomed. Pappy & Lesa would know of some good places. Me and Billyboy ate at a good Mexican place up there.

It was a CHILLY ride from Homosassa this morning, but it turned out to be a Beautiful day for a ride. We were riding in T-Shirts when we left Mt Dora. 4 of us (Me, Nick, Steve Eddy, and Jerry Sheffer) left the Tarrytown Sunoco about 8:30 and had a great circuitous ride to Mt Dora, and still arrived about an hour early. Mike (Sixlow) and Jack Attack arrived at about the same time, albeit from different directions. We had a pretty good meal at the Magical Meat Boutique British Pub and Carvery, and a nice ride back home. I left the group in Center Hill, and got home about 3:30.

All was fine until Don dropped off, it was then my rear brake sounded funny.  Got home looks like I lost a liner?   Bike has 12,400 original miles.  The old Valks acting up on me in strange ways, first lost a motor mount nut/bolt on hot rod now this?

Sorry we didn't get to make the ride. Lesa was busy with her family and I went down to Winter Haven and Lake Shipp to an Antique Outboard event.
Saw Grumpy down there. Grumpster bought a really cool opposed twin cylinder 15hp Evinrude Fastwin. Think the engine was produced in the later 1930s but Grumpy can verify. The engine is really cool looking with an aluminum tank up top surrounding the flywheel and an aluminum finned exhaust. Bet is looks amazing when he is finished with it.
There was  Vintage Boat racing in Tavares today and I think tomorrow as well.
Just across from the races is a cool little restaurant called BTW which stands for Burgers, Tacos, Waffles. Their burgers and Tacos are amazing and plenty of parking for a group like ours.

I had no indication of a brake hanging up but maybe it did, I have an extra rear caliper here so I will rebuild it this week and pop it on at the cottage Friday with some new shoes. Should be good to go.  I also had an extra motor mount bolt for the hot rod and it is already installed.  Minor stuff.

It must be brake week.......
Seems when the weather turns cold my Valk likes to start dragging the front brake(s). Did it again on Friday. Just the right side this time but it started to blue the rotor. Anyone have a right side rotor?
