I posted a while back that I finally got around to replacing the stock bulbs with some LED bulbs in the tach and speedo.

Well, I really liked them until one started blinking every time I turned the bike on.  Didn't like that

So I changed them out for a different set I had, but they didn't light up as well as the first set.

So, I took advantage of a rainy day today to change the bulbs out for the last set I had.  These had led light squares all over it, I initially though it would be too much so I didn't choose them.

WOW, these are the best yet.  I hope they last a long time!

Its not even dark yet and they light them meters up like crazy

Its from

www.superbrightleds.com

and the bulb is

Do these work in the head light indicator spots too?

Cool white

It also gives the choices of : red, UV, Purple, Amber, Green, and Blue. I'm just trying to replicate what you got since I really like the look.

Those are the other than white choices.  Of the white there is cool and warmer which are less bright.

Cool white is all it says on the package

Why would you bother posting a link that sells a similar bulb of unknown performance and at a dollar more per bulb. I could see if it was cheaper.

didn't know the difference in price, didn't see your org post.  but if your post was superbulbs....etc., I've used them and at the time these were cheaper since free shipping. same bulbs as the superbulbs, work the same.

Makes sense except Valker needs six of them.  At a buck more each that exceeds shipping by a couple bucks.  So about the same, Id probably go with the company that could get them to me faster unless one was made in the USA, Id go with them no matter what.

I messed around with these. Personally found them too bright for night riding and put the regular incandescents back in. Like two spotlights pointed at your face on a dark road.
Also, buy from a known supplier. I've had good luck with superbrightleds. Com. The El cheapo eBay bulbs might look identical but the last 10 pack I had, 2 were DOA, 3 flickered immediately. Put two "good" ones in and they started flickering within a week. Junk.

To each his own.  Both my Valks have LED meter lights now and I never felt they were too bright.  I can hardly read the speed with the stock bulbs at night if there is any ambient light light like a street light or other vehicles nearby

I too have tried the cheaper ones and they are garbage. Definitely spend the extra for good ones. You’ll be much happier in the long run.

Perfect night ride test last night.  Not too bright, not too dim...just right.  Lol. Could read even the trip meter clear as a bell.   cooldude

It is not $1 more per bulb. It is 20 bulbs for $5.85 with free shipping. I'm willing to take a chance.

I've had zero issues. they last just as long as the super's I had. and I've used both in my cab running lights. sun eventually causes the plastic to become brittle. of course zero problems in the valkyrie meters.

Just installed the cool white leds from superbrightled.com. Really makes a difference. I can actually see my instruments now.  Great low cost mod.
