Guy had a 2k Bumblebee listed in Orlando for $1000, two sets of OEM pipes, tourbox, jack, manual, aftermarket saddlebags. I literally had the trailer out just waiting for his return email, which told me this morning the bike was sold. If I would have had a phone number for him that bike would be sitting in my garage now. To make it even worse, Rita had already given me her blessing, albeit a bit grudgingly. Only two things come to mind now; I hope it wasn't bought out from under me by one of our group, and hope it wasn't bought by some dismantling outfit that only plans to part it out. Really got under my skin this time....but life goes on.  |

No, more like.  Kinda bugs me because I didn't get a return email right away, then when he did respond he had already sold it. I was sitting there with the trailer ready to go and money in hand....and no response. I'm sure Rita was relieved.  |

Same here John, so maybe he was full of $hit. I emailed him about it, and he finally got back to me with the exact response. He told me someone was coming today to see it, then he emailed me and said it was sold  |

Too bad you missed it John. But this post indicates to me that you are trying to work through those minor health hiccups with motorcycle diversions. Keep on scouring the ads, you'll find another one. Wasn't me either..........

Well I had no interest. If I ever do another project it will be a V-Star 1100 but I highly doubt my version of “Rita” will allow another purchase of a Motorcycle.

I also emailed the guy....he returned my email saying that someone named Rita emailed him and had warned him not to sell the bike to a guy named "Stuffy" and was I that guy?  I knew it, I knew someone was involved.  Like I said, I think she breathed a silent sigh of relief. |

Maybe it was one of us posting a fictious bait bike to see the masses squirm. And boy did they squirm. I seriously wonder if it was indeed real as that was extremely cheap.

Guess I'll buy a new water heater with the money I was going to use. Have some company coming after the 1st, maybe I'll wait in case it goes out while they're here. That way they might leave sooner.  |
