I just received the date for my surgery. January 17th. Look to be in the hospital for 2 days. I will have to wear a back brace for a few weeks. I sure will be glad to get this behind me.

Good luck Dave.  I wish you the best.  I'm looking forward to your full recovery and a long ride up the Coast.

Good luck BigMac and Rainman (Sounds like the title of a movie from 1988).

Don't know what kind of surgery that either of you is doing, but I've had my share and wish you both the best.

Thank you George, I'm a little nervous about it but just doing the simplest things hurts. I know it's the right thing to do. Bike is put to bed for it's two month nap.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
