Hooked up with Jeff with the ZX14 at Speedway and rode down to his house in Tampa. Took a side trip to the Horse Track, then home. Caught a small downpour of rain about a mile from my house, u know, just enough to drench me and mess up a clean bike  crazy2

Sherry and  I took off from the cottage and drove through some areas where it had rained but we only experienced a 1/2 mile or so of damp roadway.  Came back through Dade City and got some b fast. Raining for the past hour here at the cottage.  Good day.   I prefer to call off group rides and let everyone choose their own plans on these days.   Found bent shift lever on 1500 Drifter, must have been me and improper placement of the lift adapter specifically made for it.  This has to be my struggle to get into first gear on a bike with 6666.66 miles on the odo. Yes it just passed this mark.  Part is off and I need a better vise to straighten it out than the cheesy vise I have here  crazy2

. Do tell where you ride when close to home?  Is there any quiet country south or east of you?
