I am still planning on going. I need to ride. I have room a reservation. I may put Donna in the truck if the weather looks bad but so far it looks good except for maybe Monday.

Update,  One of my guys transferred out, leaving me short handed on weekend coverage. He normally works Fridays and Saturdays. So, sorry to say, but, I have to cancel going to Death Valley this next weekend. Sorry guys  |

Sorry you can't make it Dennis. The weather is looking a bit iffy. Chance of rain Friday and a chance of snow Monday. I rode through snow last year. I don't want to do that again this year. I may take the truck and bring Donna if it doesn't look to promising.

I did a 300+ mile ride this weekend and realized that my stamina is not quite ready for a 4 day trip. Reluctantly, I'm bowing out of this ride. Ride safe and have a great time.

John, maybe we should cancel the weekend due to the guys not being able to make it and the weather does not look very hospitable? Maybe we can reschedule to when Dave is able to ride again. What are your thoughts?

Rich, it sounds like its down to the two of us. Anybody else planning to go? Keep us posted. The weather is threatening rain/snow on me, so maybe the wise choice would be to cancel or postpone the ride. A big part of the ride is just hanging out with friends and if their not going ....... Maybe next time!

I just cancel my penthouse room in Beatty. Now I just need to change the ski's back to tires on my Wing since I will not have to ride in snow now.  |
