Best rebuild kits
«

Hi all, looking for info on the best (quality) rebuild kits for both the OEM petcock and clutch slave cylinders. I have a petcock with an unknown history and a clutch slave with some clear-ish gel I assume is old brake fluid built up around it. Thanks in advance.

My personal experience: I used oem cover set to rebuild my petcock. 2 years later it still works I was skeptical about it because I drove over an hour to the closest Honda dealer that had one in stock. It looked to be sitting on the shelf for the last 20 years. It’s still holding though. When I rebuilt my clutch slave a few months later I used the K&L kit on the recommendation of big papa pump. It’s still working fine with no leaks too.

So, what do I get? Number 5 in the diagram under fuel tank?

Sorry I can't attach a pic to keep you from having to go look it up.

Right, #5, the cover set, rebuilds your petcock. I like to get #4 (screen) too...
