Yesterday, most of the weather guessers predicted 6-8" in my area. Measured 16" in the driveway this morning. At least they knew it was going to snow this time...
How's the souped up snowblower working out? This was the storm that really needed it.

I wish my wife was able to take a video, but she was getting ready for work, and I was trying to get her 4Runner un-buried and the driveway cleaned up so she could leave without packing it all down. As for the question, it kicked a$$. No issues bogging down and throws like a champ. Actually, I'm going to have to tighten the friction bolt on the chute because the snow comes out so hard that if I angle it down to shoot sideways, it slowly pushes it up to where it's shooting the snow way up high instead of far to the side. The price I'll gladly pay for having a machine that works this well. I'll probably split it before it gets put away for the summer to check that the increased speed isn't killing the auger shaft bushing prematurely. Either way, it still exceeds my hopes for performance.
