Celebrate best you can.....
Came home from the Cape last night for a Foreman's meeting today. This morning there is suitcase being put in my car with instructions to pick Kathy up at work as soon as I am out of the meeting. No further information at this time.
Thanks buddy, we'll see where this goes.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes everyone. Kathy booked us a room and hot tub time at The Daniels. Yes of wedding reception fame. Today we spent the day driving around. Popham Beach, Popham Fort, Bath Iron Works, and assorted back roads. I didn't want to hog all the town so right now she is in an antique store in an old mill building, then it is on to Maine St Brunswick for all the Nick knack shops. I pretty sure the Sea Dog is in my future eating plans. It's been a good weekend.

Sounds like a good weekend.  We did something similar for Laura's.  I booked us a nice room at the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina in Niantic for Thursday - Sunday.  Thursday we had a nice dinner at Aspen in Old Saybrook.  Friday we spent the day in Newport.  Saturday we took the ferry out of New London to Orient Point, then the ferries to Shelter Island and then over to North Haven.  We had a nice lunch in Sag Harbor and then blasted out to Montauk Point for the afternoon.  What a beautiful day it was.  The Atlantic Ocean was glass flat and the sun was warm.

It's nice to sneak away for a bit!  Now....back to reality

I hate to say this, but it looks like we all missed Laura's Birthday! It was in my calendar, but I didn't look at it all day.  And Chris gave us a little reminder in the breakfast thread. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, MONKEY!!!  smitten smitten smitten
