Jerry & Sherry Sheffer

In my 9+ years working for the City of Sarasota at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall I have never seen us host anything near as big as Disney's Lion King, I believe it was 18 semi trucks! The set up is insane and I wish I could take a picture but that is not allowed.  Saying that the first show was last night and finally a little bit of breathing room now load-in is done and we have this first show out of the way.  crazy2 Twenty Three Shows in total!  So all work and no fun make Jerry a dull boy, yes there were many times I came home looked at the hot rod and the 800 Drifter and mustered enough to pick one and go clear my head but many nights were a no go.   Tongue    Anyway, my life for now, season is over in a few weeks just in time for Luv Bugs and heat.

I remember those days of insane hours.
BTW - Saw a love bug, screw fly, push me-pull me today. Hope it's not a sign but this winter has been a warm one overall.

Major suckage brother, been there done that.
Just concentrate on the light at the end of the tunnel, you will get there.
Never been to the Lion King show but I hear it is a great show, I know that some are against the big Disney Corp but I have to say, anything they put their name to as far as shoes is second to none.

Hope to catch up soon brother Sheffer.

Dang, I understand completely...I was a disney tech for several years and did my fair share of crazy hours. Not any more for me...I hope you get to the end of the tunnel soon, before the love bugs go full bloom  Grin
