www.ironbutt.com i have done 3, our friends in tatal have done six. #7 maybe i'll go, don't know yet. See how my back is doing. Once again it will be charity ride for Make-A-Wish foundation. We get our iron butt plates and pins. Some child get's a vacation they have dreamed about. There are only 66,000 iron butt riders wordwide. The official iron butt ride is 11,000 miles in 11 days held every two years. We minor players but if you feel challenged, go for it. This year we are going Buffalo NY to Albany NY over toward akron NY and back to Buffalo. About 1050 miles. I try to keep ride within 250 miles of home in case of a breakdown. We have harley, honda,kawasaki etc. No breakdowns yet, speaks to the quality of machinery the last 15 years. However if there is a mechanical we will help for 15 min. after that we are gone. Please bring credit card and cell phone. Getting excited just writing about it again. Hope to try another.
