Im going to be changing my coolant out for the 2nd time on my 2014 Valkyrie soon. I recently received quite a few gallons of the Rotella ELC NF for free from where I work. I was wondering if anybody has any experience with this stuff at all? Would it be safe in the Valkyrie or any motorcycle for that matter. From all the reading I have been doing I would say yes. Always love to have other input though.

Based on the manufacturer's spec numbers, that appears to be a Dex Cool coolant (OAT) formula. I think Honda calls for a POAT coolant, but many of us have used Dex Cool formulas in our Valkyries because it is so widely available. One of my Valkyries has used Dex Cool since the first change, and now has about 175,000 trouble free miles.

I haven't even changed mine out for the first time.  Coolant is usually good for 5 years/100,000 miles.  I will do mine next winter.  I don't bother spending extra money like this.  It's like changing the oil at 3000 miles.  I do mine once a year, since I only put on @ 6000 miles/year on it.  Money down the drain and I doubt you get any benefit from it.

I agree with that.  I don't know why Honda calls for such frequent changes when similar auto engines with identical coolant can run 100,000 miles on the original coolant.
